March 13, Alex White Plume and Ron His Horse is Thunder, both former elected leaders of their tribes, and both originators of the ride: Alex White Plume in 1986, from Bridger to Wounded Knee, and Ron His Horse is Thunder in 1987, starting from Sitting Bull Camp. This panel will focuses on the origins of the ride and its enduring effect on the community.
April 3, Put together by Kimberlynn Cameron from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, This panel discusses the experience of younger riders and how the rides have helped shape their journeys in life. Panel members include Kimberlynn Cameron, Wiyaka Wastewi, and Donavan Yellow.
